Bells for Grenfell

Published on Saturday 13 June 2020

On Sunday 14 June at 6pm, St Mary's Church will join more than 100 churches across London including Southwark Cathedral, Westminster Abbey and St Paul's Cathedral to ring their bells in memory of the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire on the third anniversary of the tragedy.

St Mary's will be ringing one of its bells and the 72 rings will be followed by a period of silence to remember the victims.

We hope that people will want to stop at 6pm and take a few moments to reflect on this solemn occasion.

Owing to current COVID-19 restrictions we cannot ring our full peal of bells.
