Another treasure and a prayer

Published on Sunday 19 April 2020

I do hope you can join us for worship today. We are livestreaming a service on Facebook at 10am today and you can join us for Evensong at 6.30pm on Youtube or Facebook.

As we complete our fourth week in Lockdown, I do hope you are managing to keep you spirits up and hope alive. Our Treasure today is one that is always there but cannot always be seen even when we are looking at the right time. It is a reminder that when things close to are bleak and we feel confined we need to look up and see the wonders that surround us. Even when we can't see them, the stars, like God are always there.

Sarah Ingram writes

My study looks south-west and over the last few clear evenings, with the reduction in pollution, I have had a wonderful view of a startlingly bright Venus to the right of the Moon.

A Prayer

Finally I attach a link to a prayer sung by Charlotte Church for the current situation.

I am very much looking forward to seeing you all again as soon as possible.

With much love

Mandy
